Flight Packages

    The ITP maintains two Reconfigurable Rack Packages for use in reduced gravity flight. The package has provisions for adding up to four shelves of slotted metal allowing for different equipment to be quickly configured for flight. The rack is commonly used to test multiple experiments simultaneously and was designed to integrate small experiments at the airfield prior to flight allowing customers more time to develop their experiments without the burden of designing and building the support structure. A special shelf can be added to provide compressed gas storage or a heat exchanger for cooling experiments.
